Connecting The Dots

Connecting The Dots

Connecting The DotsThere’s a famous speech by Steve Jobs – called “connecting the dots“, where he talks about how you can’t connect the dots moving forwards; only in hindsight.

If you haven’t seen it yet now’s your chance to watch it.  Its from the famous Stamford Commencement address delivered by Steve Jobs, then CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, on June 12, 2005 and a story called “Connecting The Dots”

Steve Jobs Connecting The Dots

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life”  Steve Jobs

Anyway, if you feel like you’re starting out as a new online marketer and everything seems overwhelming – just take comfort in knowing we all feel like that.

It’s not about having all the answers in the beginning. It’s more about being willing to soak up knowledge like a sponge, implement what you learn, and make a ton of mistakes along the way.

Connecting the dots is a great hindsight isn’t it?
