An Idea … Is Just The Start
We get the Napoleon Hill “Thought for the Day” come in to our in box every single day. Being they are “thoughts for the day” they always get us thinking …. Here’s today’s thought …….
One sound idea is all that one needs to achieve success.
Now whilst we all know, in truth, it is not quite as simple as that, having a sound idea is a great starting place.
Napoleon Hill has arguably influenced the success of more men and women than any other person in history and his book “Think & Grow Rich” is as applicable today as when it was first written ….. but here’s the thing. Napoleon Hill had an idea to write about the most successful people in the world at the time but he faced many challenges along the way. The key thing is that he never gave up on his idea – to share with the world the success formula of the most influentual and important people of his era.
Just look at some of the most successful people in history who had an “idea” – like Thomas Edison, the Inventor. Just imagine what our lives would be like if Edison had not had an “ideas” and followed through with those ideas. For one, we would be living in candlelight still!
What is the success formula that drove Thomas Edison and people just like him? It is unfailing faith in their idea and never giving up on it no matter what. That despite the ‘naysayers‘ you just keep going with that idea until you achieve the success you deserve.
Just look at some of the other “ideas” people that Napoleon Hill interviewed like Henry Ford – Founder of Ford Motor Company, Harvey S Firestone – Founder of Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, F. W. Woolworth – Founder of F. W. Woolworth Co, Wm. Wrigley Jr. – Founder of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co and the creator Walt Disney (we wrote about him just the other day).
The success formula key is to be sure your idea is going to solve a problem for people. How do you do that? You do your research. Find out how many people are search for an answer to a problem (the idea you had)
If your idea is to provide “make money online” training and education then go and check out how many people have THE PROBLEM. Let’s look at how you would do that for just that subject.
TIP – we use various search facilities but the one we like best is the Google Search Tool
If there are a lot of people searching for the subject and you have an idea that provides the solution you are starting in the right place.
“Ideas are the beginning point of al fortunes” ~ Napoleon Hill
An Idea by Earl Nightingale
The secret behind Think and Grow Rich, the reason why it has withstood the test of time, is because it stands on the foundation of truth: the clear, unchallengeable fact that everything begins with an idea. One may start with nothing but ideas, but ideas are incredibly powerful when they’re supported by Definiteness of Purpose, persistence, and a burning desire for their translation into material objects or riches — “riches” being whatever it is you happen to want.
But you have to stay the distance and do what it takes to go that extra mile and who better to tell you than Napoleon Hill in his own words
“Through some strange and powerful principle of mental chemistry, nature wraps up in the impulse [of a] strong desire that something which recognizes no such word as impossible and accepts no such reality as failure” ~ Napoleon Hill
So here is what we did – we knew that we wanted to make money online but we knew also that we wanted to bring to that our unique knowledge and experience. Our professional accounting qualifications would come in handy for adding up the money but it was more than that. What knowledge and experience would be turn into an idea that would work for us? To be honest it took us a little while to realise but eventually we realised that our “idea” was in fact our experience.
What we do now is use our experience in the field of “make money online” to show other people exactly how to do it by providing training in all shapes and forms from affiliate programs to live events, webinars and seminars and even retreats in our chalet in the French Alps
What we are saying is that an idea doesn’t always come immediately but can materialise over time in some cases.
Over at our Website under the “Work With Us” Tab you can see how we have applied our ideas.
What’s your idea? How can you develop it?
We would love to know so do leave us your thoughts in the comments box below andwho knows – you may be the next Edison, Napoleon Hill or …….?
