The 4 Hour Work Week

We have just been reading “The 4-Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss because it helps us to focus on our dreamline – our “Escape the 9-5 & Live Anywhere Dream”.  Neither us nor anyone who reads this is ever going to end up working just 4 hours a week but nevertheless there are some great tips in the book that could make a difference to your attitude to “work” and increase your productivity.  We like the Dreamline which is available here

So what has this got to do with “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland”.  Well early on in the book Tim Ferris quotes Lewis Carroll and it is very applicable to what we hear and see frequently.  People know they want to do something different, they know they want to start a business but they just haven’t quite defined the following things:-

  • what they want to do,
  • when they want to do it
  • what they want to achieve.

Enjoy this quote from “Alice in Wonderland”

” Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”

“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to” said the Cat.

“I don’t much care where …….” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.

If you are reading this blog then whether you decide to partner with us or not we would urge you to clearly define these three things before you do anything at all.

  • what YOU want to do,
  • when YOU want to do it
  • what YOU want to achieve.

Unlike in the story, we don’t have any magic potions but we may have the key to open up the possibilities for you.

All you have to do it give us a call and see if we can help.
