All It Takes Is A Mindset Shift : We should know because not only have we written a book on the subject but we see how it’s the ONE THING that holds people back and it’s such a shame!
Good people who want to make a living full time or part time on the internet seduced by the success of others yet no belief in themselves or that they could do it too
When we wrote our book it was our personal experience of the mindset shift we went through ourselves and proof everyone goes through it in some way, shape or form in anything new they do outside of their comfort zone.
On a recent training we did for our tribe and written as a Facebook Post we share a valuable story of our “entre” into skiing some 30 years ago at the time of writing. That was definitely a mindset shift and well outside our comfort zone!
All It Takes Is A Mindset Shift – Our Entre Into Skiing
When we began skiing in 1991 (30 years ago would you believe we couldn’t put one ski in front of the other without falling over)
And over the years we’ve had many falls – some more serious than others…
But that another story altogether…
Did we say “this skiing lark is impossible?”
Did it require a mindset shift?
We knew if we wanted to see the beauty of the mountains
- Feel the snow under our feet
- Fulfill our dream of one day owning a ski chalet
- Turn the “IMPOSSIBLE” into the “POSSIBLE“
It’s been the same in our online business adventure
We’re a decade into that as we write this…
It was all brand new to us (just like the day we stepped into those ski boots and put planks on our feet) and we we’re way out of our experience and comfort zone.
Many tumbles and falls
But we have goals and dreams
We won’t give up!
We find new ways when doors close or don’t fit with our business or brand…
We know where we’re going on this “piste” called life
So if you’re reading this just know (regardless of whether you love skiing or not – it’s just a metaphor – that…)
Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE in fact the word says “I’M POSSIBLE”
