“What is your biggest regret?” is a serious question to ask yourself whatever your age… because honestly you most likely have time to do something about it.
We were talking to my Mum last weekend (she’s 86) and trying to put together stories from her past so we can share them with our children and grandchildren and we asked her “Mum what is your biggest regret?”
Apart from real tear jerker regrets like not having time with Dad before he died (they always promised themselves they would travel the world when he retired) she said it was not asking her Mum about her Grandmother’s (my Great Grandmother) life …. she apparently took off to Canada as a young woman and no one knows the story now
