What Marketers Need To Know About GDPR : GDPR meaning General Data Protection Regulation – the much talked about European Law which takes effect on 25th May 2018 and “designed to give greater protection to an individual’s personal information and how it’s collected, stored and used.
As marketers we cannot bury our heads in the sand and pretend it’s not going to happen or that we don’t need to register… if you are collecting and using data and it belongs to someone in the EU (European Union) then you have to have a policy and Registration is a statutory requirement. Every organisation that processes personal information must register with the ICO (UK based businesses).

Obviously as with any new legislation or regulation there’s bound to be confusion so our message is just find out for yourself (do your own due diligence) and do what you need to do for your business to remain compliant.

Data privacy is of paramount importance to us.
