What a great quotation from John Wayne and it pretty much says it all and a great intro to this blog post.
In the last blog post we talked about the “BUT” word. The one that we all use when we are looking for an excuse. It’s no good pretending – we all do it at one time or another and we hold up our hands to it as well.
So if you are feeling like that then you are not alone. However NOW is the time to take action because realistically there has never been a better time or a more urgent time to start doing the things you want to do. It was definitely the reason we had to step outside our comfort zone and change the way we worked two years ago.
Your Next Steps
To help you cut through the minefield of information on the internet we suggest you set aside some time to do your own research (due diligence in accounting terms) and find people who are already successful – who are doing what you want to do. This is exactly what we did and it is how Stuart Ross came to be our mentor. Make sure that you can contact that person by phone, skype or email and that you can ask them the questions that you have. Questions are the answers (great book by Allan Pease of the same name by the way)
Next look at the system and the technology they are using – get them to show it to you so you can see first hand.
Take Action
Here’s the important bit – all this research has to lead to some action or you will be right where you are now. Don’t be one of those people that keeps going to seminars, jumping on webinars “looking for the right time/the right product ….” The time will never be right unless you make a decision.
